Sustainability
Sustainability is high on our agenda
You might believe in a sustainable way of life. So do we. It’s part of our culture to produce as sustainably as possible. We use less water and energy and emit less CO2, which results in sustainable products.
As you spend almost 1/3 of your time in your bedroom, chances are that you want to make that sustainable as well. We support you in realising that idea. Sustainability starts in our production facility, where we keep our carbon footprint as low as possible. We invest in:
- Special ecological programs for our machinery
- Limiting our water use and filtering the water we do use in our own purification station
- Recycling
- Limiting harmful substances
- Producing 100% homogenous fabrics
By conveying these objectives to our employees, GTA Belgium is continuously working for a better planet. All sustainable collections and products of GTA Belgium are part of Love Home Fabrics sustainability program Act for Home Textiles.
STeP by Oeko-Tex
At the end of 2021, Love Home Fabrics obtained the highest score (Level 3) on the STeP by OEKO-TEX® certification. STeP by OEKO-TEX® is a highly valued and independent certification system for the textile industry and is rewarded after a thorough audit. By gaining the STeP certificate we will be transparent and share with you the constant progress on our increasing sustainable textile production. Our high score guarantees we produce in an eco-friendly way, provide socially responsible working conditions and an optimum health and safety environment. Our STeP-certification is therefore a great addition to our already existing #Act for Home Textiles program.
